Stick with these things: CIDA (accreditation for schools), NCIDQ (testing for licensing), ASID (Main US interior design association), IIDA (International design association), and anything you can find that is being supported by those things. The bitch about interior design is that it is legislated and regulated by state so not everything that matters in one state will matter in the next. If it were pertinent in Texas our teachers would have told us about it. That isn't to mean that it might not be pertinent in your state but it may not retain it's value in other states. I've never heard of the RIDQC and our teachers have tortured us with info on pertinent certifications/licenses/associations/etc. Side note: I am in my senior year of interior design school at the best design program in Texas and 7th best in the south. You need to take the NCIDQ to get licensed. This question is asked every week or so on this sub so this was put together as a comprehensive list of information. If you can't see your post in New, you may have been caught in the spam filter.
